OOOOOHHH!!!
Heather finally took pictures!!
Why, yes, I did! (Kinda...)
I took out the camera to take pics of my awesome sweet potato pies that I whipped up for Joel's office today, and never even got the picture!
I ended up remembering, "Hey, I need to take some snake stuff pics!"
So I did.
Hey look! It's part of Heather's snake room!!
It was raining and cold last night, so I also went in and just threw some males in with some females. I have yet to check to see if there is any lock ups, but that will come tommorow.
Some pairings include:
Gen Stripe to Poss Het
Albino to Poss Het
Pewter to Normal
Sable to Normal
Yes indeedy. The rains come and bear good fruit.
Now let me show you my favoritist bag in the world.
YEAH MAN!! I'll be taking this with me to every show ever. It has my initials and junk too!! WOOOHOO!!! And, its big enough to put several snakes in. I love my family :)
Thank you again, Aunt C. Best Birthday Snake Related but not quite a Snake gift ever!
Anyway, tonight is relaxing night, I hope. Dad is coming in to town, and things will be family oriented for the next couple of days.
I do intend to try and get at least a blog up on Friday, but bear with me if I don't.
May you have much Turkey and that the Tryptophan doesn't make you pass out before the Pumpkin pie comes out, my friends.

Time is flying...
PEOPLE!!!
There are only two more full days before Thanksgiving!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I am really really wondering where all the time went.
I've been kinda focusing more on the holidays than the snakes, just because it seems like I don't have enough time in the day!
BUT!!!
It's due to rain tonight, which means another attempt at pairings.
I'm hoping that there is more action rather than the shy cornered look of most of the males that I introduced last week. Rather dissapointing...
Anyway, I am really sorry that the blog has been relatively boring these past few weeks. Its just difficult to get things in order in a new house and have time to take random photos of snakes while trying to bake pies.
I really do intend to do some major interesting highlights soon, so please keep on the lookout, and if you have any suggestions about what you feel you would find interesting that I can post, please share!!!
Off to bake pies tonight... Yummmm.

Hiatus explained
I'm sick.
How sick?
Sick enough to go home from work and completely forget about the blog Friday.
I'm sorry.
This will be short and sweet as well, as I am still sick.
I basically spent the weekend cleaning as much as I could, as well as trying not to overexert myself.
Water bowls are filled and clean, and I even managed to set up a new rack for the babies!!
Got to spend some time with some family this weekend, had some awesome chinese food (the real thing, not Panda Express), and am getting ready (albeit very sluggishly) to prepare for Thanksgiving.
Let us discuss Thanksgiving.
I like it.
I like Turkey, I like cooking (when I have the time), and I like hanging out with family. My father will be in town, and that will be fun as well. I really hope to have a good weekend/Thanksgiving, as being sick does not help matters in terms of enjoying life.
I plan on taking some pics of some snakes tonight and do that kind of stuff, but please forgive me if I slack off a bit. I am sniffling as I type..
Have a great week!!! Happy Monday!!

HAH! I did it
WARNING: Snake sex...
Your day is now complete!!!
You have now seen an image of snake copulation. Don't you feel better now?
I do!
Like I said before, I moved all the males that weren't doing anything back into their tubs. I let these two hang out, and now, this weekend, I will have to do a major overhaul of the snake room again to determine how I want the breedings to go.
Things are getting into gear now.
Not much to report else than that.
Still cleaning (endless chore), still setting up...
Things will wind down soon, I hope.
I'm also getting sick. AGAIN.
For those of you who don't know, I always get sick around the holidays, every year.
It's a curse, and I'm not sure why... Stress? Maybe... Touching germy people? Maybe...
Yeah, so I also have a cold.
YAY.

Let the Magic happen
Well, pairing ups happened Sunday night, and basically, only one male went to town already. The rest may not be quite ready yet..
Anyway, the Albino and Het Albino are locked up, and I even took pictures, but the problem is that I forgot to upload them on the internet to share with everyone. I'm sorry for the let down, people.
The rest of the males, I took out for the time being. Maybe a little more time and coaxing, as it has been very warm over here recently still (80's to 90's), so maybe some chilling out will make it more worth while.
Our Southern California season tends to start late, as it is consistantly warm over here until December.
Anyway, other than pairings, feeding night was last night.
I need to set up another rack soon and revamp the organization of the room, which more than likely will happen sometime this week. I will also try and take pictures of the new room, but it is a whirlwind of MESS right now.
Sorry for lack of pictures...
Have a good day!!

It is done...
MALES ARE IN WITH FEMALES!!!
It is official, my season has finally started.
SO far:
Pinstripe x Normal
Sable x Normal
Enchi x Normal
Black Pastel x Normal
Albino x Het Albino
Axanthic het Albino x Albino poss het Axanthic
I think that is all I paired last night. I may have missed some (going off of memory without any morning coffee yet), but there you go.
Tonight I hope to have some pics of couplings!
Anyway, I went over to a friends this weekend to pick up another animal.
This is one of my favorite "subtle" morphs...
YELLOWBELLY
Technically the belly isn't really YELLOW persay, but its different from normals. I shall take a pic of one with a normal to show you the difference.
As sad as it is to say, I have yet to make my own Yellowbellies. Next year should be a good one though. I'm hoping..
Anyway, pairings are happening, season has begun, and the Blog can become more snakey again, I promise.

VEGAS BABAYYY!!!
We're back, and all hell broke loose when we left..
We left on Friday to be at the wedding, which was beautiful, by the way. I loved the colors!!
Red is my favorite color.
The cake was very tasty!
The Gazebo where the magic happened!
Mr Royal Morphz himself and his soon to be wife Liza.
Cutting the cake with rings on!!
Table setup. YAY CHOCOLATE!
The beautiful couple!!
Coming back to the hotel, I was trying to take a pic of Vegas at night, but we were driving....
The Stratosphere
The view in the morning from our room...
So on Sat morning, we were off and on our way back with a couple of stowaways..
Meet... Pee-Oh-Gee. POG. Pastel Orange Ghost. He's AWESOME!!
Driving home, we found out that the world was on FIRE!!!!
I didn't get any pictures of it, but I can still smell it. I guess the fire was near my old house, so I called them to make sure everyone was safe... Everyone is fine. Thank you for the calls!!
But, it did take 2 more hours in traffic to get home than normal... Kinda sucked!!!
We are home, things are settling down, everything is back to normal other than my throat is burning and I have a headache from the smoke.
Pairings and junk info soon. Tonight is snake night for sure!!!

Taking a break
Well, tommorow we will be off to Vegas for the final Wedding of the year. No blog tommorow.
I am actually really excited for this one, as it is one of my good buddies and snake friends, so it will be all the more interesting!
I will get to see his stuff, and hang out, and overall have a day in Vegas that isn't actually... "Vegas", if you know what I mean. We're not going to paint the town red, we are going to be a part of a wonderful day with friends. I don't even intend to step foot in a casino other than where we are staying the night...
Tim and Liza, I am very excited for you, and can't wait to see you both.
As for me and preparations for leaving, I am slowly but surely getting things set up the way I want it. I need to have another rack built up, and a couple more thermostats set, but I think I am on my way to being not unhappy about the setup.
The house is becoming a home, slowly but surely. I didn't realize how much stuff you needed to fill up a house, and as much as I thought I had, I don't have enough to furnish a house (which is a mixed blessing)!
Anyway, I hope this day finds you all very well, and I will be back on Monday with lots more wedding pics, snake pics, breeding info, and I think we will be for reals back on track.

Hump day!!
Happy Hump Day, my friends!!
It is Weds, and I have stuff to do (kinda)!
Snake stuff is kinda on the back burner again, as I don't really have much to do other than check in on the new setup to make sure the temps are right and that everyone is alright.
Temps are good, by the way. And everyone is alright.
Tonight I plan on sitting down and going thru everyone and moving things around a bit. I need to get things situated for breeding on Sunday, and I also need to get comfortable in the new room.
It has carpet.. Bleh. Sanichips will embed themselves in it. It's a neurotic cleaners nightmare. I'm not excited about that, but other than that, I'm glad I have more space. It's actually kinda refreshing not to run into a rack while turning around in a room.
Anyway, not much else to say other than thanks for bearing with me, oh loyal readers, to hear that nothing is happening!!
I hope things get a little more interesting soon.

The heat is on!!
Everyone is plugged in and getting warm, the room is cozy and everyone is sitting pretty.
I am very glad that it is mostly set up and that I can start decompressing a little.
One of the issues I have is actually not being able to upload my pics yet, as I don't have internet at the new house as of yet, so you will have to just read the blurbs without any assistance of new images for the next couple of days.
I may just have to toss in an old photo just to break it up :)
Anyway, I have decided that for reals this time, no foolin', I will be pairing up on Sunday when I get back from Vegas from the wedding.
I think that is enough time and effort on you, the readers, part, to be waiting on me constantly to post pics of locks that have not happened yet, because the animals were not paired.
My bad.
Sorry, guys.
Anyway, I'm still tired, but am recovering. Things are getting more home-y at the house, as more boxes are unpacked and more plans for things unfurl.
I will see what I can do about a photo session soon that I can upload.
Have a good one :)

Done... and oh so tired..
I'm exhausted.
I'm moved, and I am tired.
I didn't realize how much stuff I had until we finished packing up and realized we needed two trips with the Uhaul instead of one.
But it's over.
And the snake room is larger and set up almost completely already.
I will be taking some pictures of the setup once I feel comfortable that everyone is set and good.
I am sorry this is so brief, but on top of everything else, I have a lot more to do now with the move to set things up.
I can say, however, with 100% confidence, that I will be pairing once the snake room is set up.
So more pics, more info, more snake stuff for sure!!
Have a good week!

Well, It will happen...
This weekend is moving time!
Why so fast, you wonder? (I wonder myself !!)
Because the next weekends are already planned.
Wedding next weekend out of town, and the weekend after that is Thanksgiving.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
So, at 7PM last night, I decided that we had to get it done this weekend (with a little coaching from some friends... "You're going to wait?? WHY? You have to move soon, and you don't want to do it piecemeal")
So, at 7AM Saturday morning, please pray for my sanity, as I will be moving all of everything out of the house into the new one.
This includes ALL of the animals.
THIS is the big issue. I don't want to have any problems when it comes to them.
So, I am neurotically planning my next 24 hours, and packing frantically. I don't need to be completely out of my current house yet, so I'm actually safe that way, but to get settled in the new place, I have to get everything set up and etc etc etc..
The cogs are turning a bit too fast.. I'm exhausted already.
Wish me luck.

It Begins..
I HATE PACKING.
You don't understand how difficult it is for me.
I'm actually upset whenever I get a box and try and start.
I realize I have WAYYY too much stuff, and that I would rather procrastinate.
That is what I did last night.
I sat there, after bringing a box to my bookshelf, and stared at the empty box, willing it to fill itself.
Yeah.
Dangit.
Anyway, with the move immenent in the next week or so, I've put off pairing until we relocate, as I feel that it would be better for everyone that I don't have to worry about snake sex for a bit.
But, I will have pics of random stuff!
Here is my TSK Axanthic. She is a smoker! I really like how she's not coloring up, as she is staying grey and black! Yeah!!!
And my favorite Yellowbelly female. She is a smoker too! She's just a baby though, and didn't want to show her smiling face. Oh well..

A New Day!!!
I have to say, I woke up this morning STOKED.
Why? Because things are going to change.. Change for the better!!!
I am moving into a new house!!
I am happy!!
I am thrilled that things are going to change, and can't wait to see what awaits us in the coming years.
Here are a couple grow up girls that I am going to be moving with in the next couple of weeks.
This is a 07' Mojave female that has ballooned to at least 1400 grams within her first year. I may test her out this season to see if she has any follicles!!
And here is my favorite Spider female, also an 07'. She is a sexy beast, and I can't wait for her to get bigger so I can plug her in with a couple of nice things!!
With my move immenent, I may have some speed bumps on the daily blog, (aka missing a day here or there), so please bear with me. I don't plan for it to be long...

Just a ~Normal~ Day...
Happy Voting Day!
I vowed not to get political on this historic day other than to say, GET OUT AND VOTE!!!
Get the fire flamed under your fannies no matter where you are and get out and make your voice count!!!
YAY!!!
This will be a day of Normalcy. Why? Cause I wanted to show you the AMAZING variation in "Normal" Ball Pythons.
These are all females, all Ball Pythons, and all considered "Normal".
This female is a poss het Ghost that I'm pretty sure will prove out when the time comes. When people say "Het markers", this is kinda what they mean...
This is a cool blushing back female I decided to hold back to play around with. She is too cool for school!!
This is a dinker female I've had since 05'. She is very light.. Those are her true colors.
I love my normals. They are awesome, and they are what began the amazing hobby that is Ball Python breeding.
Can't forget that.
Have a great "Normal" day!!! (And Happy Birthday to my buddy Lewie!!)

Getting back in the groove
So as I promised, this week will be more more Snakey.
I took pictures!!!!!!
YEAH!!!
I'm very proud of myself. You have no idea.
We have been running around this weekend crazy style, but I still had time to go home and take some cool pictures of some of my babies.
Here is Frog... She is getting bigger, but to give you an idea of how small she still is (although she has been eating fine for a while now), she is placed next to a staple. (I was looking for a coin, but I didn't have any in the snake room)
And here is my big boy. I am so excited to put him to his girlfriends this year. He has 5 waiting for him when I finally get around to pairing. I have yet to do it still, even though the season is right for it and the rain is still dropping. I'm putting it off to get some of these girls bigger...
I have yet to pair... Yeah...
But I think maybe once I know what is going to happen in the next couple of weeks in MY life, I can be more comfortable pairing things up. Things are happening, people.
YAY!!!
