Money, Green Chicks and International Awesomeness!

Another day, another adventure!!

We went to the NYC Stock Exchange. So did a whole bunch of different people.

We couldn't go in, but we could take pictures from the outside...

And George Washington was there

Very patriotic! Of course...

Joel made a friend. Apparently there are Lakers fans in New York.

A cool building I saw... Not sure what it was anymore, actually.

We went to Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty. That thing is awesome.

We didn't take the Ferry over, but we did take lots of photos. I was really glad to have the good weather at that point, but it started to sprinkle like an hour after this photo was taken. LAME.

I liked this one alot, because it was a Memorial for all of the fallen military, and I just really liked the elegance of the statue.

And then, Ground Zero.`

They are building there.

We didn't get to see much of anything, because of the building of the memorial, but it was cool to just be there. Very sobering... But again, very patriotic. This photo below was on one of the cranes that was building on the site.

They have a museum about 9/11 right next to Ground Zero..

And this is apparently what would be what the new buildings will look like.

Went to Pier 17. Oh wait, was that what it was called?

The Brooklyn Bridge. Bridges are really cool...

And then we went to Katz's Deli. Open for a long time (bear with me, I'm tired and trying to get this done before I fall asleep) and had Pastrami and Corned Beef, which they have been famous for forever! My father told us to go, so we did!

Lots of people at 4PM..

And here is our food... MMmmmmmm.

We went to the United Nations. It was kinda sad... They were not flying any of the flags!

The building was very impressive, but no flags

Except this one.. Which is all you really needed to see, but to be honest, I was wondering if it was because of the economy? Maybe they didn't want to spend money on flags for all of the countries??

And our friend, the subway.

And all of the people getting on it, before we traversed to the next cool thing...

My dogs are barking (aka my feet hurt), but I had a great time, and I also had a snake adventure, but I will save that for tommorow..

MORE LATER!
