Well, I am trying to get some of the feeder rats gone, so to speak. Problem is, with breeding season under way, lots of animals are not eating as frequently.
So, I get rats... and there are leftovers. I believe I have made my feelings clear on leftovers. I dislike them.
I get bit by them, I have to house them, and I honestly just don't want to have to deal with them.
So today I tried to feed. Some were eaten post haste, but not all. So when I was pulling them out, Kona finally decided to take a trip gingerly into the snake room.
And this is what happened.
Kona has a new fascination.
At first she was timid, even to come into the room...
And now??
I could not get her to stop staring. I left the room, and she stayed right there, staring.
I brought her out of the room. She went right back in and sat there staring.
I have to say, I think it is very cute. She doesn't do anything but stare at them, but at least I know they aren't going anywhere.
So since today was another attempt at feeding, I am pushing back pairing up. I hope to get to it on Weds when everyone is digesting.
So bear with me, my friends.
Have a fantastic day!
HAHAHAHA! That's hilarious! Has she gotten over it yet, or is she still enthralled whenever she sees the rats?
