One must appreciate the simplicity of animals. Eat, sleep, eat some more, sleep, drink some water...
and make a mess!
With as many animals as I have, which is not many compared to some people, I realize that I spend a large amount of time in the snake room, around 8 hours a week at least, cleaning and watering the snakes.
This does not take into consideration the time spent on the rodents as well as the prep time to get the materials to deal with the snakes (bedding, food, etc).
But after all is said and done, it is all well worth it.
And the cumulation of everything is going to happen in another few months.
EGGS and BABIES!
The glory that is reproduction in the cycle that is a year...
It is just awesome.
You get to see babies pip, pop their heads out for the first time out of the egg, and know that you took part in that.
But, like Regal so gracefully displays in his blog photo, it takes time, and one needs to relax.
Let sleeping dogs lie, so to speak.
Let it happen, and enjoy the ride.
Have a great weekend, my friends.

Awesome, I love the picture. We have three dogs and when we go out for the afternoon and see them exhausted that night we wonder..."what did they do all day"?
