You know, one of the hardest challenges for me this year has been keeping up with the times.
I honestly still haven't even planned my breedings, and I have not done the accounting for who is ready, what I can do, etc...
Why?
Well, of course, as you have been reading, I've been really busy. And to top it all off, I am sick.
Sick usually doesn't do anything to me, but this sick has knocked me on my ass this time. I've been tired constantly, my motivation to get things done in a timely manner has run out the door, and my ability to mentally just get stuff is limited by sickness fog.
And of course, around the world, that doesn't matter. Heathers issues do not effect the rest of the world, and the planet keeps spinning.
Which kinda sucks, since I would love to just pause life until this gets cleared up, so that I'm not even more far behind than I have been in the past few weeks.
And it sucks worse if you don't have help. You can only count on yourself to do the things you know you need to do.
But lucky for me, I have people in my camp that have been life savers in that respect.
It's been good to know that I don't have to take everything on myself, and the stress in that is dimished some (not completely, of course).
And, I will be taking an East Coast trip at the end of this week to go do Thanksgiving and visiting friends. So to get everything up to 100% before I leave.. ACK!
So I am trying to kick it into overdrive, with the Quils helping me (Ny and Day), so that I can get myself to a state of Good.
Which of course means that I will not have breeding plans established until after I get back, but I honestly am not too concerned about it.
What do you do when you can't get yourself back to 100%? How do you handle it?
Have a great day, my friends.

I tell my boss and my professors that I need one day. I then promise myself to spend that day in bed, sleeping, watching tv and doing NOTHING strenuous. Doesn't matter how much stuff needs done and what I should be doing.... I take the day and I let my body get some rest and recuperate. It usually helps.
