Being Lazy

I need some help here guys, I am being extremely lazy. Not that I don't feel like I deserve it right now, mind you, but also because I feel like a slug, and have been for a while.

I am getting chubby and I need some suggestions as to what to do to slim down and get myself active again!

Of course, this has nothing really to do with snakes, although I can tie it in by saying, they can get fat while I get skinny! I've also been told that Genetic Stripes tend to look like slugs... I don't agree, but there you go, that's why I put this gal up on this particular blog. Also cause she's smoking, but that has always been the case.

HAH! I did it. There is your integration into snakehood, my friends.

I need some suggestions, and I am reaching out to the blog reading community to get some.

I don't tend to have an enormous amount of free time on my hands, although this week I do, but I do want to see what you out there do to keep fit and active, especially in the post-winter early spring months.

Of course, to top it all off, I want to slim down for my wedding, which is not for another year yet, but still.. better now than starving a few months before, eh?

So while I go off snake poop cleaning and dealing with the rodents, I'd love to hear your suggestions as to what you do in your life to get yourself fit.

And not like a slug.

Another integration: My friend (who dislikes the popularity of Ball Pythons) says that Ball Pythons are the slugs of the Python World. "They just sit there and do nothing... They are boring!" Well, I am akin to the Ball Python, so therefore I am too.

HELP ME!

Have a great fantastic not boring day, my friends!

I tried p90x and it worked for me. I lost 20 lbs in 90 days of hard work. But you need a couple of equipment for the p90x. I'm looking at the INSANITY dvds next (i easily get bored and need a new at home work put) and you don't need anything for that. It's mostly plyometric and cardio workout. I know you don't have the time to go to the gym so maybe these dvd workout will work for you. That's IF you want to swet it out. My wife hates working out! :)

One more thing, I'm a slug too, so I was sooo happy to finish the p90x. If I can do it, I know you can too.

i lost quite a bit of weight like 12 pounds by simply changing what i ate for breakfast.. and i also take the stairs at work instead of the elevator.. as for the ball pythons.. if there wasnt so many pattern and color combos.. they would be that lame a$$ pet store snake they once were.. i remember in the early 90's when it was all about assuies pythons and lizards now they are beautiful and awesome to watch. ball pythons.. well not so awesome to watch.

I have heard of P90X.. I have been intrigued, but hadn't heard how many people loved it from people I knew. Thanks!

And Robert, I know my friend is not the only one who doesn't love Ball Pythons. They do have a bit to be desired in the personality department sometimes, but I love them!

I ride my bike back and forth to work/school, and I try to swim a couple times a week. Don't know how useful that is to you, though. *shrug*

Heh, Bromine (the male G-stripe I got from you) is the least slug-like BP I have! He's a ribbon of energy who doesn't stop for pretty much anything!

I never understood the whole "I don't like such-and-such snake, so why do other people like them?" mentality. There are several species of snakes I'm not fond of, but that has absolutely no bearing on what other people like, nor should it. I don't even know why I love BPs so much--I just do!

My husband thinks all my chubby snakes look like slugs.

I joined the YMCA. I haven't lost any weight, but at least I know it's turning into muscle. And they have an awesome computer system you can sign up for that keeps track of you in the weight room, for both cardio and strength training. I've lifted 100,000 lbs. this month! THAT'S 10 ELEPHANTS.

I don't drink any soda pop anymore, not even diet. Only iced tea and water. And I have smoothies for breakfast almost every morning now.

I don't diet. I used to, but it just didn't work out--I'd lose the weight, then I'd gain it back with friends. I'd diet again, same thing. So my weight goes up and down, but mostly up. I'm tired of starving and spending all my time thinking about food and then gaining weight ANYWAY.
